Which Gummy Candies Did We Like Best?
Yo, what’s good everyone! Cheezus here, and this time I roped my ex-coworker Emily into being my snack buddy! We hopped onto Amazon, grabbed a bunch of random gummy candies, and decided to see which ones were actually worth eating.
I’ve got the full YouTube video down below if you want to watch our live reactions, but here’s the play-by-play of what went down.

Sour Skittles Gummies 🍋🍓

Emily’s not a sour fan, but I had a good feeling about these. Honestly? They’re a staple candy. Soft, chewy, not too sour, and still fun to eat. These have always been one of my go-to snacks.
- Carl’s take: Already a fan. Would snack on these any day.
- Emily’s take: “Not too bad.” (That’s as close to a glowing review as it gets for her and sour stuff 😂).
Shameless Snacks (Plant-Based Gummy Candies) 🌱

These are marketed as “healthy gummies” — plant-based, keto-friendly, gluten-free, low sugar. Honestly, we didn’t expect much, but they surprised us.
We tried flavors like peach hearts, sour scouts, raspberry, green apple, and watermelon.
- Peach hearts = S-tier. Straight up gave us peach rings vibes (but lighter).
- Green apple = surprisingly good.
- Watermelon = Carl likes, Emily does not.
Emily even said she’d buy a whole box of these. That’s how you know they’re good.
Halloween Pumpkin Peelers (…Sort Of) 🎃

The package teased us with “pumpkin,” but really it was orange peel-style gummies. Fun to pull apart, but the texture was rubbery on the outside. I was expecting a pumpkin flavor though. (I should have read the package lol)
- Inside = better.
- Outside = nah.
Cool Halloween gimmick for kids, but not something I’d reach for again.
Halloween Zombie Peelerz🧠

Halloween-themed gummies shaped like little brains with strawberry/raspberry flavors. These were gross to look at but fun to eat. The soft gummy center is wrapped in a sturdier gummy outside that you can peel off. The result looks like a popped pimple or a burst blister. They tasted pretty good though.
Emily couldn’t even finish peeling hers! I said it looked like something out of The Walking Dead. But kids? They’d go nuts for these.
- Kid’s rating: 10/10.
- Adult’s rating: 2/10 if you’re squeamish, 7/10 if you’re into novelty candies.
Planet Gummies 🌍

You’ve probably seen these floating around online here and there, they’re literally tiny globe-shaped gummy candies with a filling inside. They look cool, but… the texture threw us off. The globes were a bit sticky and slimy coming out of their little plastic shells.
The outside was way too squishy/spongy for me, and it kinda felt like Silly Putty. The filling was tasty, though.
- Verdict: Fun for kids, one-and-done for adults. I’m glad I got to try one at least once.
Final Thoughts
This was honestly a blast to film. Some gummy candies were a hit, some were a total miss, but that’s half the fun of a blind candy taste test!
🔥 Top Picks: Sour Skittles Gummies + Shameless Snacks (peach hearts especially).
🚫 Skip It: Pumpkin Peelers unless you just like playing with your food.
Big thanks to Emily for powering through all that sugar with me. If you want to watch the chaos unfold, check out the full gummy candies review YouTube video below:
Until next time, Peace!
